the New Testament scriptures says that at His coming… the dead in Christ/ Messiah shall rise and Yeshua’s Angels will gather His living Bride from the four winds. They will all be caught up together with Him in the Heavenly supernatural CLOUDS of Glory and be taken back to the place He has prepared in His Father’s House.

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” John 14:1-3

THE BRIDE IS THOSE WHO LOVE YESHUA AS THEIR SAVIOR… CALLED AND ANOINTED AND SEALED ON THEIR FOREHEADS AS “HOLY UNTO YAHWEH” BY THE HOLY SPIRIT… THEY ARE FAITHFULLY WATCHING & WAITING FOR HIS APPEARING AS THEIR BELOVED BRIDEGROOM!  We are living in prophetic times. These ARE the last of the “Last Days” of this era of Grace and soon the “Last Trumpet” will blow and the Bridal Church will be called to leave this world immediately… with no looking back!

“But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left” Math. 24:36-41

Note: that it was only AFTER God took righteous Noah and his family into the Ark of protection he had prepared… that He poured out His WRATH on the ungodly ones. The flood of judgement on their sins then took those who were “left” away (not as some are wrongly teaching that the bad are “taken” and the good are “left”!) Yeshua said it will be the same way in the last days… the chosen righteous ones will be taken away and THEN the time of YAHWEH’s WRATH will be poured out on the godless and wicked ones. This coming time of WRATH is called Jacob’s trouble and is symbolized in the Book of Revelation as the 7 Bowls of Wrath. (or Vials)

So if anything or anyone hinders you from esteeming this as the highest priority in your life… (that is… knowing and being continually aware that you are in a spiritual betrothal relationship with Yeshua / Jesus Christ and have to be faithful and loyal to Him until His return for you) then deal with it now!

“And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God” Luke 9:61-62

“Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire” Math. 18:8-9

Listen for the trump of God.. the “last trumpet” which will summon even the dead bodies of the faithful saints to be changed into immortal spiritual bodies!

“Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1Cor. 15:51-53

YESHUA SAYS HE MUST BE OUR FIRST LOVE NOT OUR LAST. (read Rev.2 and 3)

“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen” Mathew 20:16

This is a high and holy calling to be a part of the last days Bride of Messiah. Those who are alive and waiting and watching when He returns will be supernaturaly changed and NEVER taste death! 

“For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”  1 Thess. 4:15-17

 “See how great a love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children of God; and such we are. For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” 1 John 3:1-3

However it is obvious that not all those in the Churches/ Christendom are ready for His return… so like the parable of the 10 virgins in Mathew 25, half who are called “wise” will be taken and half who are called “foolish” left.

The Bride of Messiah is those who are being called and chosen even NOW and will be counted as “worthy” to be taken into the Marriage Supper. Those who did not prepare their hearts as Holy Spirit filled lamps burning with Love for Him… will be caught of guard and “left” to face the time of Great Tribulation and God’s wrath on a by then wicked, Satanic world under the reign of the anti-Christ/ false Messiah. That last 3 1/2 years will be a dreadful time of martyrdom. 

“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. And he spake to them a parable; Behold the fig tree, and all the trees; When they now shoot forth, ye see and know of your own selves that summer is now nigh at hand. So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:24b-36

It says in Mathew 24 that Yeshua will send out His angels and gather His chosen ones, His precious Bride to Himself from all the four corners of the earth.

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other” Mathew 24:29-31

After the ascension of Yeshua back to the Father in the Heavenly Realm.. He sent the Blessed Holy Spirit to join His Beloved Ones into Himself… to pour God’s Love into our hearts and to be constantly with and in us as Immanuel… our helper, teacher, empowerer, guide into all Truth and comforter. He is the Spirit of counsel and Might… the Voice of Wisdom crying in our hearts… repent, prepare yourselves. Do not grieve Him! Treasure the supernatural Gifts and delightful Fruits He imparts and works within you.

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” Phil.2:12.

THIS THE WORK OF SANCTIFICATION… TO BECOME FAITHFUL, LOVING, SENSITIVE, REPENTANT, PATIENT, HUMBLE, GRATEFUL, GENEROUS, THOUGHTFUL, JOYFUL, MERCIFUL, KIND,PEACEFUL etc. BY ALLOWING THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT TO WORK THE LIKENESS OF LORD YESHUA / JESUS CHRIST WITHIN US. It will happen if we have a surrendered, teachable, repentant, loving  and obedient attitude… “

And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.” 1Sam.15:22.

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

SO HOW DO WE PREPARE OURSELVES FOR YESHUAH’S RETURN?

(Well it won’t happen by lazing on the couch and watching worldly things that those of this world have prepared for those of this world to watch and lust after. Apart form the news or topical affairs, turn it off. Spend your valuable time in personal worship and prayer. Those shallow and useless things are the enemies of your soul… because they deaden your love for Yeshua and deaden your ability to hear His Voice and deaden your desire to draw near to Him. It is simply not worth it is it? Do you want to be a dead, dull, slumbering bride?

Preparing ourselves is not so much outward as inward… to simply come to Him and be with Him and become like Him… “meek and lowly of heart”… for we are changed into His image/ likeness as we behold Him by faith.

“Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord” 2 Cor. 3:17-18

OUR CHANGE WILL BE COMPLETE WHEN WE SEE HIM AT HIS COMING

“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure” 1 John 3:1-3

If we go into our prayer closets to Father God alone with nothing but our “nothingness” and repent with tears for His Vials… then His Spirit will help us to pray and sing and prophesy or impart whatever we need help for. He Himself will counsel us. The MIRACULOUS EXCHANGE will take place of His strength for our weakness… His Light for our darkness… His Life for our death. There’s nothing to be afraid of… Yeshua said the Father wants our love… especially if we have fallen away… He is waiting and will run out to meet us rejoicing over us with singing and celebrating!

Like Esther… we are here for such a time as this…. so be prepared to go in and meet with the King… dressed in the pure white linen of Salvation and filled with the Blessed Oil of the Holy Spirit’s Love. Allow Him to sing within your heart and bring forth new songs and melodies… “singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord”. Put on Yeshua as your beautiful wedding garment… the Robe of Righteousness… and be looking for Him… with “Holy unto YAHWEH” written on your foreheads/ minds… as His priests of old wore it written on a Gold band around their foreheads.

The saints of God are a part of the HOLY NATION as a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD. of Spiritual Worshipers. “Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.  Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.”   John 4:21-24.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light” 1 Peter 2:9

This New Covenant Priesthood is of the Heavenly Order of Melchizedek. King Yeshua / Jesus is the new High Priest of Father YAHVEH. The Anointed King of the coming Kingdom of God on earth which will smash and replace all the man made and man ruled Kingdoms of this world!

~ THE COMING “MANIFESTATION” OF THE BRIDE OF MESSIAH ~

The Future Glory of the Shekinah Spirit hidden within our spirits, men/ women, children, Jews/ Gentiles who LOVE Yeshua! They will shine and become as He is… GLORIFIED and RADIANT… I speak of the resurrection and ascension into the Glory of that which has been prepared for us… the New Heavenly Jerusalem… which shall yet come down upon the earth in the LAST DAYS… you will see it is true… as long as you have this GLORIOUS HOPE within you. God have prepared it and prophesied it by His Spirit… HalleluYAH!

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God” Romans 8:18

ON PROPHETIC PSALMIST MINISTRY…

All the music tunes and prophecies I’ve received come out of times of prayer and worship alone in the Secret Place with the Father… so they are anointed and inspired by the Holy Spirit and based on scripture. “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, inging and making melody in your hearts to the LORD”. I’m taught of the LORD in all things as I’m certainly not a”trained” singer or musician. In fact I’ve only putting myself “out there” in public by faith, as a way of outreach and servanthood to others and in obedience to the Lord who tells me share them. These are His websites. Psalmist ministry isn’t to be compared with the secular or “professional”. It’s not for entertainment or profits. It can’t be turned on and off but is the outcome of sacred prayer and meditation/ in times of worship and personal holy communion with the Lord. I just offer what I have to anyone who wants to take it… and pray my music will restore souls unto God in the peaceful, healing presence of His Holy Spirit of Truth. I was blessed to be born the same year as Israel was made a Nation again in 1948. My Christian parents always said to watch Israel re the fulfillment of LAST DAYS PROPHETIC EVENTS. I have been a Christian all my life but the LORD of Israel filled me with His Holy Ruach Spirit about 35 years ago, after watching a TV programme about it and I was supernaturally joined into Jerusalem as part of the Messianic Movement. I didn’t understand all that was happening to me but it’s all about RESTORATION & TRANSFORMATION. God has a plan for the last days restoration of Jews / Israelites and Gentiles into ONE just as our Lord prayed for… that’s ultimately ONE Body, one Flock, One Church, One Israel and One Faith… in and through Yeshua Ha Maschiach… our Lord Jesus Christ. This is all possible through the Grace and Mercy of our Heavenly Father YAHWEH.

THIS IS THE MYSTERY OF HIS LOVE… Father, Son and Holy Spirit working together from the beginning… creating, reaching out and embracing us into Himself as Elohim, sons and daughters of the Living Elohim/ Most High God. Our beloved brother Apostle Paul explained these mysteries of the Bride… how YAHWEH is calling Jews and Gentiles (who were once in the world with no hope) to be grafted together as ONE PEOPLE, A NEW CREATION in Yeshua our High Priest after the Order of Melchizedeck. (In a message I received, Yeshua said “I am the Messiah for both Jews and Gentiles”) Read Ephesians.

I love writing about these things… the secret mysteries that were  hidden in the Father’s heart and revealed firstly to the Apostle Paul through visions and heavenly visitations… but few have understood until now. These are the last days before Yeshua returns… first for His Bridal Church to take her back to the place He has prepared in His Father’s House… and then a few years later to return in the GREAT SECOND COMING to rescue Israel from annihilation as they repent and cry out to Him for deliverance and redemption. “They will see whom they pierced and weep for him as for an only son” The Holy Scriptures say He will set up His Kingdom on earth, YES! Ruling and reigning from Jerusalem as the capital City on earth! Every time we pray the Lord’s Prayer we say “Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth”. YAHWEH’S ULTIMATE INTENTION IS TO DWELL WITH AND WITHIN HIS PEOPLE IN THE NEW JERUSALEM. There is much that is yet to be revealed and that is why we need to keep seeking the Lord on our knees and faces in the Secret Place of prayer and worship. Here he meets with us, helps us to pray and REVEALS HIS SECRETS to His Beloved Ones. HalleluYAH!

TYPE of the Bride of Messiah – King David

The famous shepherd David was a type of the Lord our Good Shepherd in his Psalm 23. But he was also a type of the Bride of Messiah… because of his constant longing for His Beloved God Yahweh. He was devoted to the God of Israel and the Ruach Holy Spirit had prepared him for a special calling. As his love for Johnathon, the son of the existing King Saul… was a pure friendship… so was His love for YAHWEH. He defended God’s honor by killing the giant Philistine with a mere slingshot stone to the forehead… saying how dare you come against our God! There is no male nor female in our love for God… it is about a Divine Love for our Maker.

That is why YAHWEH chose Him to be the one Prophet Samuel was to seek out from amongst his many brothers and anoint with oil as His chosen next King after Saul… for God saw his heart… the heart of a worshiper… and chose him to be the  forerunner of Yeshua the coming Messiah/ King of Israel. Even though, as a man, he sinned and suffered remorse, and was disciplines by God for it, he always repented and kept on praising and exalting the LORD.

David established the music ministry in the Jewish Temple… and wrote many songs for the choirs and song leaders to use in praise and worship of YAHVEH. He had harps made out of the same wood as was used in the Temple.

David has been an example to us of one who loved YAHVEH with a passion… He was a prophet, a poet, a singer and musician as well as Israel’e most famous and good King. He cared for his people and was generous with the sacrifices he gave… of animals and himself… even dancing frely for joy down the street in his linen undergarments… just so happy to be bringing the Ark of the Covenant back to Jerusalem.

Even after thousands of years… his teachings and prophecies bring great inspiration and comfort to many. Could you imagine the Bible without the Psalms? We can use them for sacred meditation and even pray them as our prayers and speak them out as mighty declarations of faith! How many of our doctrines and examples of Godly living and “Christian” attitudes come from the Psalms of David, the sweet Psalmist of Israel? He shared from his heart and even in the low times he pressed through into praise and victory. His songs to God were as “Love Songs” as well as expressions of his faith and personal experiences.

Hope this has been food for thought… reflecting on David’s love, passion, dedication and commitment to God… as a Bride for her Groom.

TYPE of the Bride of Messiah – Godly human marriage

MARRIAGE IS A CONTRACT AND A COMMITMENT…
SO IS BEING JOINED TO YESHUA / JESUS

In Ephesians 6…. the Apostle Paul said marriage and love between a man and woman who both love God… is honorable and a “Mystery” or symbol of Christ and His Love for His Bride… His New Covenant Church.. those precious souls from all nations, Jews and Gentiles who love and accept Him.

Godly men are to love their wives as Yeshua loves us… and Godly women are to reverence and submit to their husbands as the whole Church should honor Yeshua as the “Head” or leader of the Church… His Spiritual “Body”.

A man who takes a woman as his wife… should think of it as a priveledge not a right. He limits her to receiving her emotional and physical needs from his love and intimacy, protection and care… so owes it to her to give her that.

If he is a good husband… she WILL respond to him and be satisfied with him. Even if he’s ugly she will admire him and count herself the “luckiest” woman in the world! This keeps her from desiring anyone else and visa versa. The Lord told me once…“Woe to the woman who wants more than her own husband!”

In the world so many marriages are not holy and satisfying… and partners do look elsewhere without much moral restraint. This leads to a terribly unhappy  state and even the sin of adultery… effecting children as well.

Without the Love of God… and promises made to Him as well as each other… what can join two human beings together except a piece of paper? What stops the naturaly selfish human nature from demanding more of the other to please itself… except the humility and servanthood of the spiritual nature of Yeshua working within oneself?… showing how to “give” oneself to the other in Love as an act of grace.

As married couples know… it has to be a give and take situation and that is only fair. Then bad attitudes won’t develop and smoulder until they errupt in ugly sores. Each couple have to work out their private and public relationship in their own way… just as we each have to work out our own salvation with the Lord. It’s not all about one controling the other, talking down, threatening and beating the other into guilt, fear and obedience. That is totaly UN holy… and Un Christ like.

Even God treats us with respect… our right to express our own opinion and make our own choices. We may suffer from those choices but that is still what freedom is about. Yeshua never pressured anyone to follow or obey Him. He loves a cheerful giver… and a willing “freceiver”. He loves friends and Lovers and the Unity of the Holy Spirit! Worship is not just singing songs… but DESIRING to serve God freely out of love… following Jesus / Yeshua’s example of love towards us…“God so loved that HE GAVE…” Yeshua called this desire to love and obey the Father and give Himself to Him, His spiritual “food”…” I have food to eat that you know not of”

When we give ourselves to another and it is accepted, valued and appreciated… then that is the ultimate human experience of real pleasure and satisfaction. Human relationships in or outside marriage may not get to this height… for it is spiritual not carnal… but our relationship with God can.

It takes a strong, Christ like man to be tender and thoughtful with his wife… especially he is in the company of un Godly men in the world all day. He may come home exhausted and not feel like complimenting his wife’s appearance or noticing the things that she has done. But marriage is all about self sacrifice and caring for each other… as Christ laid down His life for us. It is worth making the effort to “notice” and bring the odd buch of flowers now and again as a sign of his love. For a woman… personal little looks, touches and words from her man matter much more than “presents” he buys at a shop… but both is nice! Can we ever love each other enough or too much? Can we ever praise and worship God too much?

Whereas Yeshua is the perfect Spiritual Husband… human men don’t always have the upbringing in today’s society to be Christians let alone Christian husbands. They may not have had good fathers themselves…or a father at all! So women have to allow for that and pray for their husbands not expect perfection… a combination of Adam, Superman and Prince Charming. BEFORE they say yes… they have to consider what it will be like waking up next to this person every morning for the rest of their lives.

Marriage is a life long commitment… just as our eternal covenant with God to accept His Beloved Son Jesus as our Savior. Vows have to be honored “until death they do part”. Marriage is a type of God’s love for us and we for Him. That’s why God HATES divorce for it does not reflect on earth what is in Heaven. He is ALWAYS FAITHFUL TO US. Many times the people of Israel, YHVH’s “wife”…  were unfaithful, forgeting Him, worshiping other idols… and yet He kept forgiving “her” and trying to win their love.

In God’s eyes a married couple are married for life… only after death can the one left be free to choose to marry again. Scripturaly the ONLY exception to this is infidelity by one partner. Even then there should be allowance for repentance, forgiveness and restoration. Seperation is allowed, if it is needed for peace but only if they remain unmarried. Paul seems to allow a non believer to leave a person who has become a Christian (after their marriage) and says such a Christian person is not in bondage to the unbeleiver… but that if the unbeleiver wants to remain married to him or her… then let them stay. I assume he means that if the unbeleiver wants to leave and divorce the beleiver then the Christian may re-marry but only to another Christian of course… since we are not to join ourselves to unbeleivers.

Two people have to be compatible not just physicaly attracted… otherwise the attraction wanes and a tug of war over differing opinions, interests and choices can develop. Through prayer any problem can be solved… even if it takes time.

Not only are men not equiped to be Godly husbands without faith in God… neither are women equiped to be Godly wives without faith in God. Just as we may all have issues with resentment, anger and rebellion against God at times… wanting our own way… so this happens in marriages.

Holy marriage can’t exist in peaceful harmony under the defiant attitude of a wife who won’t submit to a loving husband’s wishes… he could end up a whimp under her thumb and she will despise him even more. A bossy wife belittles the role of a man and is not the true type of the Church and Christ. In a Christian marriage… we wives might have to bite the tongue and form a better attitude… submiting to our husband’s wishes, tastes and decision “as unto the Lord” Ephesians 6.

Human beings in rebellion against God and each other… can feel lost, deeply insecure and unsure what or who they beleive in… or what they should be “doing” with their lives. Life becomes unmanagable… they get stressed and frantic… grasping for control…asking, “Who is in charge? Who is giving the orders? What’s the truth? Where am I going?” It’s not a matter of attaining, obtaining, knowing  or doing something… but being One with God that resolves the control issue. We can come into that I am who I am… state of acceptance and rest of soul. Not to be God of course but to be like Him! This is what spiritual maturity is heading towards.

The mature Son or Daughterof God stops the human dilema of struggling… once they receive the Holy Spirit of God the Father and Yeshua the Son to dwell within them and are taught to come to this place… where the selfish, self centred carnal nature no longer dominates the spiritual self or others… and no longer NEEDS to seek for approval and a dominant place over others. Then we can walk by our spirits… see and pray and know / sence things by our spirits! Halleluyah.

(All the spiritual “versions” of the 5 natural sences. We are body, soul and spirit but usually human beings are run by their body’s obvious needs and their minds, emotions and self wills… the 3 functions of their “souls”… whilst our spirits and the voice of conscience is dead until Christ awakens us)

The disciples of Yeshua asked Him… “What shall we do to do the works of God?” Yeshua answered, “This is the works of God, that you beleive in Him and the one He has sent” Surely this is the same as His teaching to “Seek first the Kingdom of God and all these things (that the heathen seek after) shall be added unto you”

Human marriage is a great test of personal sacrifice sometimes… It can be  very dissapointing. It is character building to be a willing, self sacrificing servant of another human being, especially if they don’t seem to appreciate it or respond back! But Godly servanthood  is not about looking for results or pats on the back. Sometimes we just have to accept people as they are and pray for them. God can give His Grace to enable us to do anything… endure anything. He is able. He is enough.

As for our spiritual relationship with God which is like a spiritual marriage… when I can stop my struggling and just BE His… then I will “do” things out of love for Him. It will be an honour and a priveledge to say I belong to Yeshua / Jesus… rather than I am a Baptist or a catholic or even a Christian or a Messianic ???? Have we got a secret identity problem? Are we really clear and committed to Yeshua Jesus alone… first and last?

As a couple who love and desire each other and want to be in each other’s arms… the Bride of Messiah will come into her place of Spiritual REST and Peace… the place He has prepared for us in His arms… in His Father’s House and will never leave again… the old things will pass away and not even be remembered any more

“And so shall we ever be with the Lord”

TYPE of the Bride – the Shulamite Woman in the Song of Solomon

The Shulamite woman in the Book called the Song of Solomon… also called the Song of Songs… is the object of the King’s attention though she is embarrassed about her appearance. She feels like a “nobody”… yet he is singling her out for his affections.

The love story is a type of the Bride of Messiah looking for her Beloved… who is a Royal King yet also a mysterious “shepherd”… who would feed “amongst the lilies” and come into her garden to enjoy the fruit, meaning the “fruits of the Spirit” growing in her… and the fragrant herbs and flowers… the sweet aroma of her life. He was a born poet and romantic! She loved his attention and touches, yet at times she would be too tired or spiritually lazy to “rise up” for her Beloved and let him in… and other times  she would be franticly searching through the streets and asking everyone else… “Where is my Beloved have you seen him… if you have, tell me where he is so I can go to him!”

As she gathered confidence… she longed to see his face and to hear his Voice more… and it was defidently a mutual attraction… he also said he wanted to see her face and hear her voice! They adored each other… yet their times of courtship together seemed rather haphazed. He is wiser and more stable and consistantly working in the background… watching as she flitters here and there restlessly asking questions… rather like Martha who was too busy to sit down like Mary and listen to Yeshua!

In her life and spiritual experiences she was bruised and abused by the watchmen on the walls… perhaps you too have been hurt by those who are supposed to be protecting the people of God… pastors, ministers of churches under different names and denominations? I was rejected and left crying from a Uniting Church of Australia in 1991 and have only rarely gone to some other churches since then. Ironicly it had a sign outside which read Welcome to the The Church of the Good Shepherd…“Woe to the shepherds who feed them selves” It’s often the case that the “anointed ones”who are seeking their Belovedand want to fellowship with others who Love Him too… are not always welcome for they may see what’s wrong… that is what is missing… true love for the Beloved!

In the story which is a love song… she would only catch glimpses of her shepherd / King but He waited until she was mature enough before He revealed Himself fully to her... How did He know when she was mature enough for His Love?… when she changed her focus from…“My Beloved is mine and I am his and his banner over me is love”… to … “I am my beloved’s and he is mine”. She stopped “searching” and realized he was there all the time!

He became her first love not her second… and she became aware that she belonged to him and that he treasured her and would not let her go! She could let go the  fear of having to impress with a false religious persona and trying to be in control of everything and everyone. (Kneeling down and repenting of pride kills that attitude off)  She could start being HIS Bride… (by accepting the fact that he really has chosen her and WANTS her) rather than trying to make him HER husband.

She lets Him do the leading! Not that the bride is inferior… not that she can’t approach the King any time she wants… but she comes to know her place in the Divine plan… she can accept that she has been called and chosen as His Beloved… that He wants her company and support… that she is valuable to Him. See the difference?

This is as the desire of Yeshua for humanity. He the King of Glory who took on human form and sacrificed Himself…  going through the unspeakable pain and intercession against demonic powers and the shame of the betrayal, trial, rejection and death on the Roman cross  for our souls. Yet He did all this willingly to purchase us from the god of this world… the Bride price was His own holy blood… it is amazing and humbling. He longs for us to respond to His Love… otherwise His blood is wasted.
